“Distorted futures, regressing toward the hurtling destruction, stripped of progress, for the relations between agencies have been rooted in anomalies, charged with the counter-flow for long enough to build up into an eruption.
It is very hard to know war, to have it shimmering in your bones and subtle fibers. To pass it on to your children and their children. It is hard to teach them the principles of its precognition and face the fear of them experiencing that same fear, the pain, the noise of crumbling, the smell of human flesh, and other smells. Ignorance should be preserved at all costs.
Human life – a bargain, another perpetuation of devaluation, sacrifice bending the iron pendulum and carving the Earth with blood trails. Feeding the wounds with poison, inviting death to take over and reset. Evil is the decay of the world's soul.
Putrefaction of humanity is caught in the opulence of forms, and one such form-in-reverse is making a difference between a white child and a brown child. Between European death and other deaths.
The Dystopian series, conscious movements of the collective mind which stand against any form of fascism, political ignorance, or basic lack of empathy, are records of the time and scaffolds of the space, in which we are forced to build cognizant reality, openly inconsonant with these distorted futures.” - Manja Ristić
