Workshop "Zvuk etera" is designed for young people aged 10 to 16.
Across five sessions, held from 10 to 14 October, participants will explore sound through conversation and hands‑on practice. They will be introduced to the basics of field recording and hydrophone recording, sound editing, instrumental improvisation, and the many ways sound is used in contemporary multimedia culture.
Zvuk etera is part of the audience‑development programme Korčula Loves Film, closely connected to the development of Pansini Days — a project that brings local and international audiences closer to the life and work of Mihovil Pansini, otorhinolaryngologist, researcher and theorist of spacioception, and one of Croatia’s most significant film experimenters.

Participants can look forward to:
Outdoor introduction — getting to know field‑recording equipment, listening exercises, and a recording session.
Outdoor session — sonic ecology, sound narrative, building a relationship with the environment through listening techniques, field and hydrophone recording.
Sound walk & Centre for Culture — site‑specific interventions, experiments, and the hidden sounds of everyday life.
Centre for Culture session — basics of sound editing, listening through collected material, experiments, improvisation.
Final session — continued sound editing practice, experiments, improvisation.
